SUMMER PROGRAM
It was another great summer at the GECRC
This year our session ran Monday through Thursday from June 27-July 28. We were temporarily located at
Churchill Elementary School. We averaged 51 students and 18 volunteers each day.
Program partners include:
- Glen Ellyn Park District provided a one week swim lesson session for GECRC students grades K-3 from June 13-17
- Victory Sports Camps ran a one week soccer skills program during the morning program.
- Norman B. Barr Camp offered scholarships for 20 GECRC students for an overnight camp experience.
- Glen Ellyn District 41
- The Kiwanis Club took us on two field trips. We went to Stacey's Tavern and the Morton Arboretum
